shaped white flowers in spring.

Brazilian Red Hots™ Alternanthera dentata 'Brazilian Red' PVR IntendedDimensions: Approximately 50-60cm tall x 50-60cm wide.

Position: Full sun to part shade. Brazilian Red Hots™ Alternanthera loves humidity and is heat tolerant.

It's a frost tender shrub, so it will need to be planted in a sheltered position to protect it from light frost. In frost-free areas Brazilian Red Hots™ Alternanthera can be planted in full sun to part shade.

Soil Types: Well drained moist soils.

Uses: Ground cover, border plant, containers.

Care: Keep moist in dry weather. For best results in light to moderately frost affected areas, prune and use a good slow release fertiliser in early march.

Pruning and fertilising at this time will help Brazilian Red Hots™ Alternanthera perform better over winter and look it's best in spring. In frost affected areas if they do get burnt over winter, simply prune affected foliage at the beginning of spring.
